About the Author

Born on September 28, 1964, Jacques went to Portsmouth Abbey School, an exceptional prep school, from '76-'82 in Portsmouth, R.I.. Following, he attended the University of Rhode Island, matriculated in the Computer Engineering School, when he acquired his Spinal Cord, and Traumatic Brain, injuries on his 19th birthday in '83. After a 3 month coma, and against doctors' wishes, he went back to college to get his Computer Science Bachelor's degree. Failing in that endeavor in 1992, he tried his hand at web development/consulting, when he finally called it quits in 1996, finally accepting he had no place in society.
