About the Book

I’d never really thought about whether or not vampires are real and if someone had told me that I’d not only discover the truth about them but that I’d fall completely and undeniably in love with one, I’d have told them that they were crazy. Vampires are some myth that you read about in books but Lucian is everything that I could want or need and more. Unfortunately, he carries with him a deep, dark secret that he’s been keeping for years; a secret that would put me and my friends in more danger than I ever could’ve imagined. Now, I can only hope that Lucian can find and save me before my captor has a chance to replace my life with one filled with darkness and blood. I don’t know if I’ll survive this or if I’m doomed to a life that will no longer include friends, school, and love. About the Author

Melinda Harris is a previously published author of Vampire Promise and Melinda has been featured in the local newspaper, The Observer-Reporter on the success of her first novel. Melinda currently lives in Claysville, Pennsylvania with her husband of eleven years and her three children. When she is not busy writing her next book Melinda’s hobbies include catching up with her friends through her face book account, watching her favorite television dramas, cooking, shopping, and reading as many books as she can find.
