About the Book

Sierra Dawn Willis was born on November 4, 1999 at Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois, where her Grandma Dee once worked on the Mother/Baby Unit. Although Sierra does not remember, many of Grandma Dee’s old friends and co-workers took care of her, which made Grandma very proud. Everyone agreed that Sierra was the sweetest baby ever born there. (At least that is what Grandma always has said). Sierra has kept journals and drawn pictures of her life since she was four. Art is something that she enjoys very much and she paints, makes bird houses, and draws animals. MMA is one of her favorite sports, because her brother Kodi wrestles and wants to be in MMA after college. All the men on her father’s side of the family have wrestled in high school. Grandma Dee became a sportswriter for the Bleacher Report at the age of 62. French-Canadian Georges St. Pierre is the family’s favorite fighter, and Sierra has written letters to him. This summer Sierra, Hailey and Kelsey are going to break the two young fillies Flicka and Melodee. One thing is for sure, there will be plenty of adventures and lots of action at Grandma and Grandpa’s for a long time to come and Sierra will still be smiling.
