About the Book

No one was entirely sure how it all started or even why. Young or old if you were to ask, so then you would be told. It was merely a matter of tradition. A tradition for as far back as anyone could remember and meant to be for all of time yet to come. So on a very particular day each year—it was all to begin again. A day when all the gentle creatures of Tanglewood Forest would gather together and celebrate. However, from behind a jagged rock at the top of a hill, there was one who had not—and would not join in. His ugly mood had nothing to do with his restless winters nap. No, it was just his nature-he was born that way. "I'm sick to death of hearing about Morgan and his pathetic mamby-pamby ideas. Why—he’s just an ordinary big, soft, ugly and extremely stupid frog. Anyone can see how superior we snapping turtles are." As he continued along the path a particularly wicked idea began to take shape. "Ha-the absolute audacity of some species. Does he really think everyone can live together in pathetic harmony? Hhhm-m-m—I wonder, yes—I just wonder indeed.”

About the Author

London was born in Port Washington, WI. From a very early age, she channeled her creative energy onto paper in the form of short stories, fanciful prose and poetry. Her inspirations for much of her writing gift are attributed to the nurturing country life she grew up in with her younger sisters. When she is not writing, she enjoys gardening, painting and photography.
