About the Book

Poetry Beyond Tomorrow is a poetry book about life and the way that I perceive it. In this book I discuss how profound it is to have faith and to push forward, even though that may not be so easy to do. I share my wants and to a certain extent my fears. I preach what I believe. There’s a message for the younger generation and the black community. We have to really come together as one in order to make the change that generations to come will see. It’s all in this book.

About the Author

I was born in Tallahassee, Florida. I am one of five children from my mother. I was mostly raised by my mother’s aunt who is my great-aunt (Ruth) and her husband. I came from very humble beginnings. I learned very early on that my will had to be greater than my adversities. I would still face many challenges throughout my life, but I realized that God made the difference. I have five wonderful, and bright children. They were all God sent. I love to write because I can release my feelings, beliefs and desires. I wanted to share it with people.
