About the Book
Have You Gotten [A Round] Tuit? The Little Beige Book is a compilation of practical business lessons learned by the author’s lifetime of success, failure and observation, while climbing up from the bowels of a Fortune 500 company and retiring somewhere near the head. From nuts and bolts “how to” essays on management, pricing, and other topics to insightful observations of the human forces within a company, The Little Beige Book is like packing an experienced mentor in your briefcase. Haag’s straight speak gives you the real-world skinny on topics big and small and will help you avoid learning some key truths of the corporate world the hard way.
About the Author
Tom Haag was a successful researcher, becoming head of a laboratory for a leading specialty chemical company. He then moved to the commercial side, where he held positions as a marketing executive, business manager, and director of corporate development. He was the President and CEO of two cutting-edge successful joint ventures with Japanese firms. During his “retirement” he served as an independent director on the board of a mid-sized specialty manufacturing firm. Tom lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with his high-school prom date. Tom’s first book, Mox Nix, is a corporate thriller fictionalized tale of corporate corruption, chemical toxicity and lusts based on an industrial tragedy that resulted in the lung-cancer deaths of 54 chemical plant workers. It is available at www.mox-nix.us and www.amazon.com .
