About the Author

I grew up in the small town of Tallassee, Alabama and moved to Jacksonville, Alabama to finish high school. I graduated from Jacksonville State University with honors. I later obtained my Master’s Degree from Auburn University and Auburn University at Montgomery. I’ve taught Special Education for 22 years and have also been a professional photographer for the past ten years and have my own studio, Photographic Memories. Becoming a professional photographer was a dream of mine as was becoming a professional writer. I am excited to say that Second Chances is my first published book and I have many more to come.
