About the Book

This book is about a boy who grew up in a country called Guyana. He loved to fix cars and bikes, and just about anything. He grew up with the dream of becoming a mechanic and a construction worker. In search of work he found himself on a journey to The United States of America. People migrate all over the world in search of a “better life”. This book highlights one man’s journey from Guyana , South America to the United States of America. While on his journey he discovers other peoples’ culture, history, and geography.

About the Author

Tanya Marie White-Seerattan was born in Brooklyn, New York. She attended Medgar Evers Community College, in Brooklyn, New York. She acquired her Associates degree in Education at Northampton Community College in Tannersville, Pa. Tanya spent a decade as an entrepreneur in the construction industry with her husband and partner Noel Seerattan. She is the mother of 3 and the step-mother of 4 beautiful children. She has a genuine love for the children, music and travel. She currently resides in Stroudsburg, Pa.
