To all: This book is a compilation of short stories that I’ve written from way back & to now. I have shared them all with friends I know. Now, I am finally ready to share them with everyone else.

About the Author

The Boy: I know a boy who was adopted when he was eleven months old. He weighed at birth two pounds, ten ounces. The doctors were convinced that he would never ever walk or talk. He went to kindergarten and didn’t learn very much. The doctor sent the boy to a special school so he could learn to read and write but unfortunately he couldn’t seem to learn to talk. When he was eight years old, his mother read a book on deaf children and thought it was about time to have this child’s ears tested. She had a really hard time getting through to the doctors until one winter day, the doctors were very sorry they had doubted the boy’s Mother. When he was fitted with hearing aids two weeks later, the boy shouted with glee, “Mom, I can hear!” everyone started to cry. The boy finally got into a regular school and was able to cope with the expected and unexpected, he has come a very, very long way from his birth to now and he’s still going strong. I certainly do know that particular boy very, very well. That boy is ME!
