About the Author
Author, George D. Contakos, a regular guy’s story of how, whatever the situation is, it can be changed for the better. George was born and raised in upstate NY. He grew up in the family business, a small Greek restaurant named, “Katina’s Diner”; which is still open now after 35 yrs. His father and mother came from Greece in 1962. They are known as a very hard working family. Mother and younger brothers, Chris and John Contakos, now run the restaurant. George moved to California at age 23 to end up in retail sales. He has a wife and 2 daughters who reside in Orange County, California. George makes frequent trips to NY to help out his mother by working in the diner. He is also a chef.
