About the Book

A Timely Journey of Faith is a compilation of sermons, exhortations, hymns and scriptures with the intent of helping to point souls to Jesus the Light of the World. The hymns and scriptures complement the sermons and exhortations. The book is set out in seven Divisions, covering Love, Prayer, Faith, Steadfastness, Exemplary Personality Traits, Worship and End Time. “Love” speaks to how much Christ loves us and that we should love others as well. “How Many Times” and “Good for Evil” are the two sermons in this division. “Prayer” encourages us to pray often, how to pray and when to pray. Scriptures on the blessings of obedience are outlined. The prayer of Jabez is one of the sermons. The others are, “If my People” (Solomon’s answer from God), “Abiding in Christ and Praying in Faith” and “Prayer”. “Faith” dwells on the call to follow Christ and that the decision to follow Him can only be done in faith. “Matthew - a Publican follows Christ” is an exhortation. “Steadfastness” is needed in order to maintain our relationship with Christ. We cannot give up when the going gets rough, we must trust God implicitly. The sermon “Stay on Board” speaks for itself when we are in the midst of a storm. The other is “Hope Thou in God”. “Exemplary Personality Traits” looks at the determination, forgiving spirit, and faithfulness of Jacob, who becomes Israel. The hospitality, faith, discernment, and diligence of the Shunamite woman are highlighted in “Slack Not Your Riding.” In “Worship” we see that God inhabits the praises of his children. False vs. True worship is highlighted. In the exhortation, Jesus gives us a new song of praise for different reasons. “End Time” focuses on the fact that Jesus will soon come and He has given us “The Blessed Hope” of Eternity with Him. The signs are all around us. Hitler’s role in the prophecy of Daniel and his fears are included in “Hitler - Stopped by Fear.”
