About the Author

Yovica Charmante Valentin was born on January 19, 1996 in Queens, New York. She currently lives in Elmont, NY. At the age of three she first attended St. Boniface Catholic School for 2 years. Then she went from kindergarten to the sixth grade at Gotham Avenue Elementary School. And now she currently attends Elmont Memorial High School. In grade four she was assigned a creative writing project in which she created the story Vanessa on the Move. She has added and improved the story over the past years. It was from that day on that she continued to write stories and now at the age of fourteen she is working on her next novel. Yovica is a hardworking high school student who has big dreams for herself and wishes to become a successful author.
