About the Book

Scrapbook Poetry is a collection of memorable thoughts, keepsake emotions, and faces of nature that I have written about over the years of my life. This collection is my scrapbook displayed in verse that describes the varied layers of my soul. Life is experienced through the mind, heart, and eyes. Experience teaches, emotions develop understanding, and the eyes take in all the wonder of the world. To put my life in a book such as this says it was all worth keeping.

About the Author

Patsy Petree Johnston is a native Texan and currently resides in Arlington, Texas near her two sons and grandchild. Recently retired from banking she enjoys working in the church, gardening, painting, and writing. She started writing at age 28 when she attempted to put into words the emotions she was experiencing. Not having any writing experience or training, she relied solely on God who had given her life new meaning. To her surprise, the words fell onto the paper in poetic form and since that time her writing has developed into an array of creations in words.
