About the Book

Brother Marcus is a suspense novel that delves into what happens when there is only one survivor from a horrific accident and the survivor asks the question ‘Why did I survive?’ Earl young survives an horrific car accident only to be in a coma for five months. He awakes from the coma to new and conflicting changes.

Is the family that greets him as he awakes from the coma really his family, and his memory has not fully come back? The doctor says the amnesia is an effect of the accident and the five-month coma. On the other hand, is it really amnesia? Are there other forces – divine or worldly – at play in Earl’s life?

Who is Brother Marcus and where does he come from? Why doesn’t Earl remember him? Did another family adopt Brother Marcus when he was born and he just recently discovered his biological family? Why is it he only appeared after Earl’s horrific accident?

Earl knows that his memory is not failing him and that something strange is afoot. He vows to find out the truth even if it destroys the family he knows or worse kills him.

Earl makes note of every oddity, especially the bright light from Brother Marcus’ bedroom door. What is that? Is Brother Marcus an alien that wants to take Earl back to his planet? Or is he a divine intervention trying to right a mistake?
