About the Author
Wilma Peebles-Wilkins began her career in child protection in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. She retired as professor and dean of the Boston University School of Social Work. A Distinguished Practitioner in the National Academies of Practice, she is a National Association of Social Workers Social Work Pioneer.
