About the Book

This book is about emotion, and on these pages you will be taking a walk in my shoes. To feel, imagine, and contemplate a life that isn´t your own. Poetry in it´s greatest form is brought out from secrets held close, moments you only wish to forget, those times you sit thinking "I only feel this". There are poems for everyone and some you can relate to, be it a life mistake or a loved one no longer there. Understand that the words bound to these pages have only been for my eyes, though some shown on Writers Cafe to friendly poets now passes to the world. As the reader will see sadness, joy and love, find hope in dark times. Now I open the doors to an unspoken voice, each scream that resides deep in this soul welcomes everyone.

About the Author

Life is supposed to be full of vibrant colors, a walk that we alone take finding along the beaten path, who we are. Joshua Chilson is a man of twenty five years with a lot to learn from the world. Throughout these years, he says he cannot boast as he has not much to show for achievements. Currently Bowling Green Missouri is where he resides, though having moved time and time again 'Home' hasn't been found yet for our author. Something He enjoys are early morning coffee with a cigarette in the presence of good company, although most of the time it's spent alone writing. At age twelve is when writing became necessary for him, poetic release had came with talking less, and slowly my social skills dissolved. Presently while trying to find his voice, the decision to journey out with the last of his arts came into play. Joshua is the type of person one comes to understand not through spoken words, but in silence and gesture. With each turn of the corner, his aspirations have changed; poetry has and always will be a part of his life, but what he wants most is to be a father like his own old man.
