A Christian Talks with God

About the Book

"A Christian Talks with God" is an attempt to make Christian people understand Jesus' mission on earth, which is to preach peace. "My Followers" will show Jesus as a human being and the difficulties Jesus had as He began His ministry and how it ended.

"A Soldier's Lot" is a story of a temple guard and Roman soldier who are ordered to guard Jesus' tomb after His crucifixion. "A Sinner Talks to Jesus of Nazareth" will explain how, as a human, Jesus coped with difficulties.

About the Author

Lewis Martin Talmadge, known to his friends as Lew, is a retired US Army officer who learned five languages during various colleges and as a two-time graduate from US Army Language School, Monterey, CA. Lew has had many stories published in his local newspaper, "The Daily-Post Athenian", Athens, TN, and "Chicken Soup for the Pre-teen", as well as in a book published by "Xlibris" called "We Don't just sit in Rocking Chairs" which is a book written by seniors. Lew is married and lives with his wife and dog Molly in Athens, TN.
