This book contains deep and inspiring works of fiction. I hope the reader will allow his/her mind to journey into the past reaching back to a time where nothing was forbidden. The word BACKWARDS is meant to take you on a magical journey into the far reaches of your mind not moving forward but backwards in slow motion exploring unknown and untouched places yet to be discovered. In the end, I hope you will have known true love and respect for your neighbor, as you experience their trials and tribulations through words. That you will embrace the true and original colors of the earth on which we all must find a common ground to dwell together in unity.

About the Author

S. King-Livingston is a freelance writer who enjoys the art of storytelling. Her writing takes on a form of their own; as sSharon King-Livingston was born in St Catherine, a small but quaint parish in the western tip of Jamaica, West Indies. She migrated to the United States in the late 1980s and lived in South Florida for some time. She has since left Florida and now resides in Douglasville GA. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and plans to establish her own publishing company and concentrate on writing children’s books. This is her first book published and we look forward to many more.he stretches her imagination to depict some of the most poignant civil rights issues in her first book, “Moving Forward on my Journey sdrawkcaB (Backwards)”; she also tells the story of a father’s struggle to raise three feuding daughters in “A Letter to My Husband” and most recently, she shares her own struggles to find true peace and meaning in “God’s Enduring Promises.” King-Livingston is passionate about writing and refuse to encase herself into one category of writing. King-Livingston is a single mother of one son and shares her time with her family of three brothers and two sisters. Her mother was and still is her voice of reason, but she makes no excuses for her faith in God, who is the center of everything she does.
