About the Author

I was born in Norwalk, CT, 1993. Raised by a divorced mother and older sister; two very strong and independent women. My sister and I are opposites that complete each other. She prefers listening to Hip-Hop and going to clubs, partying up. I prefer to listen to Christian Hip-Hop and go fellowship with others, being unashamed of sharing what is heavy on my heart. I was never the one that could fit in where ever I went. I know behind people’s smiles is pain locked away and emptiness, something I learned from my mother. Something I want to change in everyone.
