About the Book

On September 17, 1982 Dorina Sayler disappeared from her home in Notlingburg without a trace. Her father went mad. Rumors and legends abound. Was she murdered? Kidnapped? Did she runaway?

Nearly twenty years later, Truman Murdoch becomes obsessed with the mystery to avoid his own demons. He lives in a haunted house, his parents have joined a cult, his best friend was just released from prison, and his ex-girlfriend is about to marry some jerk. Petty crimes and jealousies place him on the road to self destruction, but will Dorina Sayler smite him first?

About the Author

David H. Schleicher grew up in Burlington, New Jersey on the banks of the Delaware River not far from Philadelphia. He obtained a degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Elon University in North Carolina. The author currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. An Accidental House was inspired by an actual unsolved mystery concerning a missing girl from his hometown.
