About the Author

I have lived this story, or the background to it, in my own life. My husband, Rev.Gildardo Soriano, and I, and our nine children have lived in Compton, a city just south of South-Central L.A. for over forty years. We pastor a small Spanish speaking congregation,“Noah’s Ark Church” and have experienced many of the problems and blessings told in this book. The story of how Angel warned the Principal of his school about the attack by the Junior High Students is is true word for word about my younger son, and we suffered the earthquakes and riots together with our brothers in the South Central churches. I also taught in the public schools in this area for seven years.
