About the Author

My Imaginary Lover took on a life of its own. During the voyage from Southampton, England to United States of America. I intended to write a poem on the ship, Elizabeth. I started the first day of the six weeks on the sea, that I felt sea-sick to death. For the rest of the voyage, I was confined to my cabin. The evening of the next day my imagination took flight. Romance on the ship, the passengers pastime at love; then on shore with my spouse and friends, and then Broadway, skyscrapers, the people, and its city were overwhelmed! Love as an idea, larger and larger and stronger, until I could not describe nor comprehend.
