About the Book
Before Jim and Lyn Kirkland ever met and married in 2002, each in their own separate life had been a victim of betrayal in their previous marriages. Blindsided by the betrayal, separation, and subsequent loneliness, each searched for help in bookstores, hoping to find practical advice that could help a person through the blinding pain, numbness, and loneliness of a new life that was neither expected nor chosen. Neither was able to find such a book.
Years later, they met and married, and the Lord led them to chronicle their own paths through the emotions and changes that took place in their lives. "Healing For the Broken Hearted" is not only a practical guide for individuals coping with the aftermath of betrayal, but also a map through the spiritual battles encountered. It leads one to eventual victory over the pain inflicted by marital betrayal, separation, and divorce. God’s word promises to give us a future and a hope, and this book can open the way through your dark tunnel and into the light that you are seeking.
