About the Author

Jack Goldstein is a successful man of the world. From a humble Brooklyn upbringing, he became CEO of a major bulk shipping company. And yet he writes, “All that happened to me gave me time and opportunity for self-knowledge -- to grow in compassion and hopefully wisdom for myself, my family and people crossing my path.” He continues to create an independent and fruitful life, to stretch his mind and heart, and to welcome all forms of serendipity. Now retired from business, he is working on his second book, addressing troubling aspects of the world he observes today. Jack lives in Seattle with his wife, Nancy, and is blessed by having beloved grandchildren nearby.
