About the Book
A retired CIA operative now employed in the private
espionage industry discovers evidence that the incoming
President-Elect of the United States, a one time Vietnam era
prisoner of war who wins the closest election in American
history, is a secret pawn in a megalomaniac's plan to take over
the economic reigns of the country and ultimately the world.
That is the scenario presented in ‘The President-Elect Must
Die!’ an action adventure thriller written in the style of best
selling authors Clive Cussler, Robert Ludlum and Tom Clancy by
first time author Terry Heath.
Brent Colton is a retired CIA operations officer now in the
employ of the Creighton Corporation, a privately owned think
tank that advocates various opinions on world issues, but it’s
his clandestine job to solve the dirty problems for their
private clients for a million dollar fee with no questions
asked. When recovering stolen technology from Vietnamese
industrialist Dac Minh, Colton obtains evidence that Minh
secretly partnered with U.S. Senator Arthur Paxton to rig the
recent presidential election and elect Paxton to the nation’s
highest office and intends to collect the spoils that go with
it.
Colton goes to Washington to verify the information is
correct and once he does will ultimately try to stop Paxton from
becoming president before the January 20th inauguration ceremony
through the assistance of allies he meets and the Washington
political scene is turned upside down as Colton confronts a
megalomaniac’s dream of subjugating this country under his rule
just as Inauguration Day has arrived leaving only one final
option available to prevent Paxton from taking the oath of
office. His death.
