About the Book
Greed and abuse force Jean Ackerton to re-evaluate her present situation. Forced to live in a senior complex that is wretched, Jean finds a way out. Unknown to her two abusive daughters, Mrs. Acherton has received a large sum of money from her husband’s will. An old Victorian house for sale in the paper gets Jean’s attention. She buys it. The house is in excellent condition. There’s a hitch: it’s haunted. Rescued from kidnappers by a mysterious masked man, Jean is later kidnapped by an evil couple from her and her deceased husband’s past.
About the Author
Born in Ohaha, Nebraska in 1935, I used to listen to all of the old mystery radio shows with my parents and two younger brothers. Writing comes naturally as I used to tell some pretty tall tales as a child. I love to read and never got over my love for books. I have a library that is still growing. I collect old videos from the last century and the new ones if interesting. I am a collector of unusual items, old sewing machines and I spin wool, cotton and other fibers into yarn; I cook, sew and do research for my stories. My favorite color is emerald green.
