About the Author
Shante’ Lawson is a native Texan raised in a single parent home. Shante’ completed her general studies from Bellaire High School. She graduated from Texas Southern University with a degree in Healthcare Administration. She is currently working for a prominent health insurance company. In addition to her involvement in the Healthcare industry, Shante’ has committed herself to being a full-time, active christian. Shante’ enjoys reading, writing, traveling, spending time with family, friends, and most of all God. Shante’ is a member of the Young Professional Urban League and other organizations engineered to develop the community. She periodically holds inspirational book club meetings at area coffee shops as a “pick-me-up” serving. Shante’ is constantly ministering to individuals in need of encouragement.
