About the Book
A fourteen year old girl, Jesse, is going through life just like most other teenagers. School is not much fun except for her friends, especially her best friend, Jay. Jesse lives with her mom since her parents were divorced and she hardly ever sees her dad. It’s not until Jesse and her best friend Jay, along with a teacher and three other students, go on a very different type of field trip that she realizes that all of them have problems and secrets she had no idea about.
About the Author
Social Studies and Language Arts teacher Michael Lariviere has been teaching young teens at a junior high school in Colville, Washington for over eleven years. Working with students and helping them to enjoy reading is his passion. The author graduated with a Baccalaureate from Eastern Washington University and received his Masters degree in Education from Gonzaga University. Most recently Michael passed the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards. He has been happily married for seven years with two young children. He enjoys camping, hiking, carpentry, and of course, reading.
