About the Book
Long Summary: The River’s Secret Cayman Taylor tends to be on the curious side. So, when her little brother runs into an old chest mysteriously buried on the sand island below their house on the Shoshone River, she can’t help herself. She needs to find out the answer to the letters. She feels drawn to both the sender and the receiver. The letters are so heartfelt and so full of love that she doesn’t understand why anyone would bury them away, forever. As soon as she begins her search she is twisted into an unbelievable story of love and hate. Cayman and her family and friends are confronted by stories and facts that don’t seem to add up. She comes face to face with lies, deceit, death and murder. Her search takes her to the Wyoming countryside, to a nursing home, to a funeral, and finally to New York City. The more she explores the secret of the love letters the more involved she becomes with lost lives. Questions enter her mind: who buried the love letters, what is her story, and why did she bury them? Who sent them, and why did he break off his relationship so suddenly and never return? Cayman uncovers a vicious plot full of evil. A plot that was intended to keep two hearts apart for an eternity. Will she be able to put all the stories together and unravel the mystery? Will she be able to heal old wounds and mend the circle of love that should have been complete years ago? Will she ever be able to unlock the river’s secret?
