About the Author

John D. Leinbach is a native New Yorker. He is a graduate of the class of 1935 at Amherst College, in Massachusetts and where he is currently the Honorary President of the Society of Alums. During World War II he served with the American Field Service from 1942 through 1944, in North Africa and Italy. He spent the major part of his business career at the BBDO advertising agency, where he became vice president and copy supervisor. He is retired and living in Greenwhich, Ct. Mr. Leinbach is married to Mary, and they have four children.
