About the Author

Blondelia Morris was born in North Carolina, and reared in Norfolk, Virginia. She attended John T. West Elementary, Booker T. Washington High School, and I.C. Norcom High School in Portsmouth, Virginia. She was married and mother of four sons. Her hobby is reading, writing, doing puzzles and traveling. Blondelia worked as a paraprofessional in Norfolk City Schools, as well as a secretary. This work with children was the beginning of her interest to write. She went back to school at Norfolk State University and Tidewater Community College to improve her writing skills. Still learning, she received her Master in 2002.
