About the Book
In the book “FORWARD EVER!”, author Donald A. Noffsinger urges his readers to proceed forward in life even though facing struggles with financial depressions, wars, job problems, family tensions, church frictions, and the many other hardships that each of us face in our journey of life. The title of the book is suggesting that we go ever forward in life, with faith and trust in Jesus Christ as our savior and friend – and that we face the future with the joy and hope that He bestows upon us. The book takes the reader thru the Great Depression of the 1930’s, the war years of the 1940’s and 1950’s, and then a major portion of the book deals with the years the author spent as the President and Publisher of Warner Press, Inc., in Anderson, Indiana. He tells of the political debates within the Church of God, (owner of Warner Press), which finally leads to the end of Warner Press as a major Christian Publisher. It is an interesting tour of the high points and low points in one man’s journey of life.
