About the Author

Stona Fitch was born in 1931, and grew up on a cattle ranch in rural Oklahoma. During the Korean War, he served with the 45th Army Division, assisting medical units. He graduated with highest honors from the University of Oklahoma in 1955. He spent his entire 40-year career at Procter & Gamble, the last nine years as Vice-President of Manufacturing. He lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife, Barbara, and has played a key role in many non-profit organizations—including the Taft Museum of Art, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, the Cincinnati Horticultural Society, Cancer Family Care, and the Ronald McDonald House.
