About the Book

I, who was a Taoist in religion and a Deconstructionist in philosophy in the 1980s, now look back across what was, perhaps, an “abyss,” from the other side of “faith and reason,” Catholic, and offer you fruits of my journey of conversion: a sifting of Jacques Derrida’s logic; a vision of the eternal, as distinct from the infinite; and answers to the questions “why do we suffer?” and “are we, and God, really free?” This book, written in blood, I send to you, promising you there is truth and that it is attainable, by God’s grace, and to his glory.

About the Author

Michael Bolerjack was born on December 5, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, and grew-up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Houston, Texas, where he went to Houston Community College, the University of Houston and the University of St. Thomas, studying journalism, English, philosophy and theology. In 1991, he joined the Catholic Church, having repudiated his former belief in deconstruction. In 2000, he married Marinela Berenice Flores, who is from Mexico. Following completion of his studies, Michael plans on teaching literature, composition and religion in the Houston area..
