Jesse Barnes He was inspired to collaborate with his sister on The Magic Tooth after being unable to find a book that related to children of color and losing teeth. A graduate of Morehouse College, Jesse has worked with children in both education and ministry. As a former museum curator, he implements the arts in his presentations with the youth through singing, storytelling, and puppetry. Jesse Barnes is a library-media specialist and lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Prisca Barnes The vibrant and colorful images created by this artist reflect only a portion of her talents. A graduate of Clark Atlanta University, Prisca has traveled extensively throughout the United States as a vocalist, singing at many concert halls, including the prestigious Carnegie Hall. She is also an accomplished violinist and pianist. Her spare time is often spent mentoring girls and teens. Prisca Barnes lives in Wichita, Kansas.
