About the Book

Formula for a Miracle is about a fifty-year journey of faith and love. One elderly woman, empowered by the Holy Spirit, began a ministry in an impoverished place, overcame nearly insurmountable obstacles, and forged ahead to develop a powerfully effective ministry that would change the lives of countless individuals in Garden City, Idaho. This is a story of one woman’s dauntless faith, overflowing to those who followed her, Pastor Tom and Ginger Blackburn. With God’s help, this trio, and the many who were inspired by them, touched and changed lives, infusing them with hope, and placing in their hands tools to help them begin their own miracle work of faith.

About the Author

Tom and Ginger Blackburn ministered for thirty-nine years as pastors at the Community Christian Center, a missionary ministry in Garden City, Idaho. During this time, Ginger helped found the church school, and served as its principal for eighteen years. Tom, retired from active ministry, continues to counsel and encourage the people of Garden City. Since God placed this city on their hearts, it is their desire to continue to work with Him to seek needs, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, to prayerfully meet them.
