About the Book
When Nettie Sykes decides to help Jack Harper, her fiancé, she unwittingly sets a trap for herself that will force her to marry a man she does not love. When circumstances re-unite Nettie and Jack, they consummate their love. Though Nettie will tell Jack, years later, “You gave me back my life that night,” it is a life of heartache. What she must do to protect their daughter will critically impact the life of that daughter as well as the granddaughter. Eventually it is love that redeems not only Nettie but also those she loves.
