About the Book

A book about regrets we all feel when someone close to us has died and we don’t believe we did enough for them while they were living. Walk with this author as he visits five cemeteries in the Upper Midwest where his ancestors are buried. Feel his remorse for what he should have done while they were alive. See how he tends their graves and spots needed maintenance. Then follow him on a journey through other cemeteries that have fallen into disrepair and learn how they were restored to conditions honoring the people buried there.

About the Author

A.H. Blegen was executive director of the national Association of Data Communications Users, Inc., headquartered in New York, from 1984 to 1992, monthly columnist for Communications News Magazine from 1988 to 1992, author of a business book, Records Management Step-by-Step, author of A Place With Two Bells (a novel of gender discrimination and a love affair in shambles), published in 2002, and, most recently, author of A Forgotten World: Lessons from the Great Depression, published in 2003. Holds Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Minnesota and lives and works in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
