About the Book

With his poetry, Bernard Stone expresses and exposes his life experiences. His vision of the world and the activity upon it are his inspirations. Memories are intermingled with the present to create unique images and telling messages. His collections of loss and aspirations of renewal and revival reflect a richness of life and a since concern for humanity. Despite this concern, there is joy and humor in much of his musing. As an artist, Mr. Stone presents his serious views and expectations in creative and abstract terms while retaining a cyanical eys and a joie de vivre.

About the Author

Bernard Stone was born, raised and educated in New York City. A Copper Union graduate, he entered the world of graphic design opening his own professional design office. Serving several major corporate accounts, he won recognition and awards for his packaging, advertising, book exhibition and corporate identity design. Through the years he also created paintings and prints. More recently, he added stone sculpture to his artistic accomplishments. Mr. Stone taught for many years at the Parsons School of Design and authored two texts on graphic design. Now he is applying his talents to a new medium…words. Currently residing in New Jersey, this is his first collection of poetry.
