How does one defi ne critical survival methods from routine? The answers are elusive and you may spend your entire career searching for the answer. It may sound trite, but it’s true. The most successful people don’t necessarily understand every aspect of their domain, henceforth the need for effective administrative leadership. This book is not an all encompassing answer book, but a light hearted collection of ideas, suggestions and some tried methods that has allowed its author to survive over 30 years in the business environment. It’s hoped that even the simplest of thoughts placed in this book may at some point provide you some support and explain why no matter what or how we do things, we can’t stop the Grey Hair’s.
About the Author
Douglas Cathon has spent more than thirty years in the administrative arena. Starting in the Navy and moving through numerous healthcare organizations, Douglas has been a forwarded the opportunity to experience most administrative venues. He has lectured at National conference regarding administrative responsibilities and has published over 42 articles in various professional journals. He continues to lecture and teach business course at the local college. Douglas has developed a philosophy that no matter how great the technology, the success we seek only comes to you through work ethics and how those are reflected back by those who work with you not for you.
