About the Book
When a teenage boy who normally abides by the rules becomes best friends with one who is inclined to break them, something has to give. No Chips, No Changies brings two such individuals together and is an admonition. Though the boys present a comic relationship, the potential for disaster is ever apparent. What is the danger of compromising one’s beliefs if they don’t measure up to the expectations of others? A series of moral conflicts offers an answer culminating in an important life lesson, namely that the true test of virtue is the courage of one’s convictions.
About the Author
O’Henry Jones is a graduate of Villanova University but treasures his elementary school experiences and credits the Parochial School System for instilling within him the set of moral principles upon which he has based his entire life. An imperative he was given early on: to leave the world a better place than it was when you came into it, has led him to at various times be a mathematics teacher, baseball, basketball, and soccer coach, as well as a life skills counselor for men with special needs. While pursuing these activities, he was also secretly writing.
