Arty is The Littlest Acorn who clings to the Oak Tree refusing to let go and fall to the ground. As Arty watches the other acorns drop, doubt takes root about his own future. About the Author

About the Author K.A. Brown lives with her husband and children, Spencer & Jeremy, on the East Coast. In addition to writing for children, she is an environmental lawyer and has a master’s degree in mass communications. Ms. Brown has authored several other publications and can be contacted through stbrideliterarygroup@lycos.com About the Illustrator Erin Carter is a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in History. She works as a graphic artist and has taught basic drawing to children for UFM. As a lover of cartoons, Disney and Bugs Bunny’s gang are her favorites. Together with her husband and family, her life is surrounded by creativity. Ms. Carter’s other interests include writing and music composition.
