About the Author
Kaitlin was born in Indiana, moving to the East Coast upon turning two. She grew up in a neighborhood filled with children and could often be found bike riding, playing kick-the-can, or capture. Her formative years were spent happily, and many of her friends from grade school and high school continue to be close friends today. She went off to Princeton University at the age of 18, where she played tennis, rugby, and was social chairman of her Eating Club. However, she had no passion for any particular subject, and so departed with new dreams after two years of partying and making many friends. It was originally planned to be a year off, but it would be many years before she finished her undergraduate degree in Social Work and a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology. After Princeton, she spent a summer in Georgetown, and then moved to Colorado, ostensibly to be a ski bum. However, she found love instead. She moved in with her boyfriend, and had one of the best years of her life. She studied Classics in Rome, and then returned to Colorado. This time, she really fell in love. She sadly left her love and then spent time tripping around the country with a friend while meditating and stopping at hot springs across America. She had been involved in crystal healing and creative visualization, and meditated nearly the entire time. Eventually, she and her friend decided to part ways. She gave up the crystal healing and returned to the East. She finished her degrees, as well as a degree in Interior Design. She floated, never satisfied with having a career, instead preferring to meditate and perform work for various charities. The writing began to come easily. She wrote a spiritual novel, but decided not to publish it. Along the way, she became interested in karma, and has been exploring it since. This book comes out of her meditations, and she has found it helpful for her own self, and thus wishes to share her learnings. Karma should never be frightening, for if you love yourself, you can learn and thus are bringing good karma into your life. However, you may need to forgive yourself for past wrongs, and seek the forgiveness of others. Karma is a beautiful thing.
