About the Book
A Call to Stand in the Gap examines the Church’s failure to connect with today’s issues. We stand at a crossroads. We either rise to the occasion, or we miss our opportunity to be Christ’s hands and feet. We must connect with today’s issues like human rights, the environment, same sex marriage, etc. We must reach out to those we’ve often criticized as a church. Their voices include the NAACP, Planned Parenthood, NOW, The Human Rights Campaign, Greenpeace and the ACLU. Moving beyond the picket signs and offering a cup of cold water in the name of the Lord, we understand grace.
