In Our Victims: Small and Innocent, readers will enjoy the technical construction and the free verses of the poems. They will admit of the richness of imagination and the originality of the many pieces. The poems show rhythm, emotion and a keen insight into this generation’s realities. Such as the father in jail imploring his own father to visit the son they had never met. Irresponsible behaviors and the thoughtless grandson exercise of personal freedom will continue to exact a toll upon our society.

My collection of poems entitled “Our Victims: Small and Innocent” reveals passion for the family unit, explores the senseless killing of the innocent, and describes the scars left in the souls of those who approve of and undergo abortion procedures. Selfishness, and self-indulgence are costing our generation and succession one’s their future. And the survivors must live with the consequences whether intended or unintended.

About the Author

Jocelyn John received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from the University of North Florida. He is a husband and father with two beautiful sons, John and Jonathan. He is currently pursuing a Master in Ministry from Trinity Baptist College.
