About the Book

My son, James Jr., (PEPE) and his family gathered around the table and had lots of fun making sketches to match my poems. Just the ten of them because Elizabeth was too young to draw. She does however appear on the cover, compliments of her oldest sister, Tiffany. Age 18.

About the Author

76 years of age. Married 48+ years. 6 kids. 19 grandchildren. Worn to a frazzle. High school grad. 7 years U.S.Army. Multiple jobs history including bowling alley pin-setter, bicycle telegram messenger, fast-food handler, clerk-typist for a several freight companies, etc. Finally fell into computers & discovered a latent talent for programming. In the late 60's, I wrote software to ship piggyback trailers cross-country for a friend of mine and subsequently sold it to the Union Pacific Railroad. Have always felt I should have gone into Show business as I incessantly sing and tell jokes. Tee hee. Before my memory started fading, I could recite poems and sing songs for hours on end. Now everything is f..a...d....i...n...g .
