About the Author

Born and raised in South Carolina she had an interest in true crime from a young age. She moved to California, attended nursing school and has been a nurse for over 30 years. A young wife and mother at the time of the MacDonald murders, she followed the case and attended the trial in 1979. There were many things to her that made no sense and so she began looking for the answers. She has done extensive research obtaining records through the FOIA. She has traveled thousands of miles to meet and talk with people who were involved in the case. Now she is telling her story of what she found taken from the government’s records. Nothing is sugar coated be it good or bad for either side. She lives in WI now with her husband where she enjoys spending time with her children and grand children. She maintains a website on the case and is keeping her promise to the victims’ family to provide the truth of what really happened.
