About the Book

Mount Mole, a castle on a mountain, is the home of the warrior mole tribe and their leader, Head Mole Regal the Magnificent. Regal and her tribe live peacefully together, but all of a sudden, evil comes lurking outside their doorway. Cerberus Zeal the Brutal, the hyena, and his wicked army of wolves, bobcats, and wolverines have come to take the castle fortress that the moles had built. Cerberus uses nasty, cunning tricks in an attempt to drive the moles out of their castle, but Regal refuses to surrender, though she and her tribe are badly outnumbered. Finally, Regal is forced to send one of her moles to find someone who can assist them in defeating the hyena´s army. Will the mole be successful and bring back allies, or will he be captured by their enimies before he has a chance? Even if he does return with help, can Regal and her friends defeat the ruthless hyena, or will they be overpowered and have their home taken away?

About the Author

Erica Caballero is an eleven year old girl who lives in Mobile, Alabama. She is homschooled by her mother. During her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, ballet, and music. Erica started writing Mount Mole at the age of ten, and completed it at eleven. Mount Mole is her first book.
