About the Book

"When Greg’s son’s girlfriend is kidnapped. The police believe she is a runaway, but his investigation points to a stranger kidnapping. And the stranger is probably a polygamist. So begins a three-month journey that takes him and his faithful dog, Keiko, on an odyssey chasing a strange Fundamentalist Mormon sect. In his quest to find her, he learns as much about strange human behavior as he does about where she is. He thinks about a speech given by Abram Lincoln, when he said, “Slavery and Polygamy are barbaric, and both should be eliminated from a modern society.” But these people think God talks to them, and watch out if you disagree because they may kill you for being an infidel.

About the Author

The author, Kenneth Brown, is a former FBI agent and now operates CPA firm in Salt Lake City, Utah. Because of this background he does consulting on the presentation of evidence for court cases. He is also the grandson of a polygamist grandfather, who had seven wives and forty-three children.
