About the Book

I love my grandson and I wish to leave memory of his first year. I think that this book is rather fascinating and instructive, as nobody remembers the first year of the life. All stories in the book are vitally truthful and accompanied by photos from birthday till fulfillment of one year. It is very strong book because each word is written with love. My book can serve as a family keepsake item and help other parents develop a better idea of what to expect during their child's first year.

About the Author

Possible I did not have a happy childhood. My childhood passed during Second World War. I lived with the mother in Kiev in Ukraine on territory occupied by Germany. I remember it well, as the front line passed twice through my childhood. I had only weapons for toys during the war. At times I could not imagine that there was another life, life with peaceful, everyday problems. More than fifty years have passed since I watched my neighbor Mikhail’s photographs show silver as the developer grew dark. The image appeared on the paper. I could not believe what I saw. A lot of years gone... I studied in school, then at the university. Photography became my hobby, growing with the development of technology. More than thirty years ago I mastered the production of colored photographs in the dark room. I also became more precise in hand developing film and pictures. My love for nature and photography found me. I strive for understanding and fixing instances in our memory.
